Annie Sprinkle

Annie Sprinkle is the prostitute/porn star turned performance artist/sex educator. She has passionately researched and explored sexuality in all of its glorious and inglorious forms for thirty years, then shared her findings through producing and staring in her own unique brand of feminist sex films, publishing her erotic photography, and teaching workshops and classes. In addition to her trans-media work promoting non-judgmental approaches to sexuality, Annie has championed sex worker rights and health care. Her most recent book, available from Continuum, is Hardcore from the Heart: The Pleasures, Profits and Politics of Sex in Performance.
